PuppyHead Start for dogs 9 to 16 weeks:
A key developmental time
in your puppy’s
life is before the age of 16 weeks. Therefore,
it is important to enroll your pup in our PuppyHead
Start class so they can learn to “speak
dog” with other pups, meet new people of
all ages, and begin their early obedience training. We
cover house breaking, chewing, leash training,
and coming when called. It’s a fun
class, suitable for the entire family to attend.

Basic Obedience for dogs 16 weeks and older:
Is it time to teach your
dog household manners and gain control of your
dog’s behavior? Are
you ready to begin your formal training for
competition or field work? Let
us help you develop a tight bond with your
dog so that your dog wants to obey. Our
classes are based on over 15 years of experience
training dogs and their owners on dog obedience.
Teach your dog to be a welcome part of the
household and build a great foundation for
sit/stay, down/stay, stand for grooming,
come when called, walk nicely on leash and
wait at doors.

Off-Leash Preparation:
Now that your dog understands
basic obedience let us help you move on to
the next step. Our
off-leash preparation classes teaches your
dog hand signals and voice control from a
distance of twenty feet. By the end
of the course your dog will learn how to
walk nicely at your side with your hands
off the leash, drop to a down from a distance,
come to heel position, and other behaviors
that are invaluable for the family dog, those
who wish to go on toward agility training,
hunt work or search and rescue.

Trick and Treat:
This class will get you
and your dog started on basic principles of
shaping tricks using clicker training. Clicker training
is a mutually rewarding way to train because
it develops a bond and partnership as you
mark and reward behaviors that your dog performs. It’s
a great way to learn more about your dog
and it teaches your dog how to think and
problem solve.

Rally:
"AKC Rally is the new dog sport that is taking the nation by storm," and if you have completed Dog Dynamics' Beginning or Intermediate Course, this is the next step in building a fun and rewarding relationship with your dog. Rally offers both the dogs and handlers an experience that is fun and energizing. You and your dog will learn to move through a series of stations at your own pace, but as a team. This team work strengthens the bond between you and your dog by producing a dog that enjoys doing obedience, whether it is around the house or in public places. It's also a great building block toward off-leash skills, and other obedience objectives.

Collar Clinics:
During the last year
Sheba dug two holes, escaped from the yard
and ignored her owners command to come, barely
missed being hit by a car, ate the landscaping,
chased numerous squirrels and neighborhood
cats, raided the garbage can and munched on
cow manure, chewed up Dad’s new boots and knocked over Auntie
Mae…She got better. Learn
how to safely and fairly use an electronic
collar to teach your dog to: reliabily come
when called, walk nicely on a loose leash
when distracted, and leave the garbage and
critters alone.
