Dog Dynamics Beginning Obedience course has greatly improved our relationship with our energetic puppy, Ruby. Bonnie packs a lot of expert information and training into every 45 minute class but does so in a simple way that is easy to follow and repeat at home.

Her ability to describe and demonstrate how dogs interpret our actions has changed my perspective on interacting with Ruby. The change we've seen both in ourselves and our pup in six short weeks is dramatic. Most importantly, she made a process that I anticipated to be very frustrating really fun.

Hi Bonnie

I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you again how grateful we are to you.  We have not found a trainer in our area, but have been working with the techniques you showed us.

We all went to California during Thanksgiving and were able to leave Shadow in the care of a neighboring 12-year-old and Steve’s physically disabled brother alternatively.  He behaved beautifully with all concerned.
 
Shadow’s willingness to stay, come and go on command, wait when coming out of the crate, lie down when told and stay, etc., are so helpful. I really couldn’t be more grateful to you.
 
The best news of all—Michael, my autistic son, and Shadow follow each other around the house and are very close.  It’s great.

We have worked with Bonnie in Beginning Obedience, Off Leash Preparation, Dog Park Education, and Rally.  We and the dogs have always had a great time.  

She is a super teacher breaking each activity down into understandable parts to create confidence in both the dogs and people.  She is sensitive to each dog's personality whether it be our bright and bold Jack Russell Terrier, our sweet, but sensitive girl Gordon Setter, or our stroppy, mumbly, grumbly male Gordon.

She is a real find.

I own a very spirited Portuguese Water Dog, and as a puppy I took him through the Beginning Obedience class, Off Leash Preparation, and finished with Rally.  His behavior has improved a great deal with the class work and training that Bonnie offers.   I also had her come to our house and work with us individually on some concerns.  

She is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and the best way to train for positive behavior.  She is also extremely professional, very friendly and provides easy to implement suggestions on how to change a particular behavior in a dog.  I would highly recommend Bonnie for all levels of dog training as well as specialized work with problem behaviors.

It is indeed wonderful to take Puppy Head Start the second time!!  In the first class, I probably only heard and understood half of what you were saying (Hershey is very distracting – ha!!)  Now, I am hearing it, and understanding, and doing it!

Hi Bonnie,

You have helped me mold the best trained, most loving, sensitive dog for miles around. Coco is still a little territorial - especially when the neighborhood stray cat strolls through her back yard - but that is natural and acceptable. Coco is dynamite off the leash - she'll even stop going after the cat and return to me when called. Whatever people did to screw her up in her first four years is fading away.

Coco is completely tuned into how I feel and on bad days she tries to help me move around. It's really touching. She's my little (65 pound) service animal. She and the cats are on nose to nose terms (depending on how finicky the cats are feeling) and everyone has the run of the house.

Anyways, I appreciate all the work you did with us and I really appreciate you showing me how to work with Coco and to help her be her best.

Bonnie has helped us manage our “out of control” Dalmation, Olive, and our headstrong Beagle, Sony.  Through her training tips, we have learned how to understand them and train them!  They are much better members of our family, now.

Bonnie took two new (naive, incompetent ...) owners and a new (very high spirited, challenging, large, handful ...) dog and made them a lifelong team.  She helped us build such success that we acquired yet another dog of the same breed, who is now an AKC Champion and a number one all-breed leader.  But more than that--a dog-owning family that lives, loves and works together. 

We could not have asked for more--more patience, understanding, expertise, you name it.  We recommend her to anyone who wants to make the dog-owning experience more successful and rewarding.  The very best you could do ... for man and beast.

Bonnie has an incredible talent and is a great resource.  Initially, our Vet recommended her for help with our first dog; a very strong willed dog. Bonnie helped us train our beautiful dog, who as a result of Bonnie's training,  was precisely obedient and a great family dog.  

Bonnie trained our family on how to understand dogs and how to recognize our role in living with a canine family member.  She has been an invaluable resource and the person we immediately turned to when we adopted another dog.  I have attended most of her classes and she is a fabulous trainer who clearly understands dogs, owners’ issues and helping people work with the dogs that they have chosen. 

Her amazing skills have also taken her along the paths of working with Search and Rescue and Service Dogs.  She is a compassionate and perceptive trainer and a wonderful person to know.
